Betex ist ein bislang völlig unentdeckter Wert im Bereich Fußballwetten und Online-Lotto. Sitz ist London.

 

Neben der anstehenden Fussball WM gibt es andere schlagkräftige Argumente.

So besitzt das Unternehmen Lottolizenzen in einigen chinesischen Kantonen.

 

Weitere Kantone sollen in Kürze hinzukommen. Das Potential ist gewaltig. Bald geht man auf Roadshow. Spätestens dann dürfte es für den Kurs kein Halten mehr geben. Auch die Markttechnik deutet auf eine Beschleunigung des Aufwärtstrends hin . Die Aktie bietet ein Potential von weit mehr als 100 %.

 

Da der Titel noch völlig unbekannt ist, sind die Umsätze in Deutschland sehr dünn. Ordern in London. Kostet zwar etwas mehr, aber es wird sich lohnen.

Hört sich mal wieder ganz schwer nach ner Push-Aktion an !!!! Sowohl der Wert, der Kurs, die Marktkapitalisierung, die deutlichen Gründe für den Kursanstieg usw. sprechen dafür. Bei den WO-Freaks wurde die Aktie auch schon gepusht, wenn auch von nem Vollamateur.

 

Ob es sich jetzt um nen OTC-Wert handelt oder nicht, lasse ich von solchen Schrottaktien immer die Finger !!!

Puh.. Schwer zu beurteilen...

OFEX-traded online football betting specialist Betex Group has won a contract to co-manage the state sports lottery of the Chinese province of Guizhou.

 

Dr Johnny Hon, the Cambridge psychiatry graduate-turned financier who runs Betex, says the Guizhou deal will enable the company to modernise and multiply the use of the Guizhou lottery. This is one of China's array of provincial lotteries which are as yet the People's Republic's only legal form of gaming, generating combined revenues of £1.3 billion in 2003.

 

In the first Chinese gaming deal won by a foreign company, Betex's local arm has an exclusive management agreement with the local company running the lottery. This ensures the Betex subsidiary a management fee of 'not less than two per cent' of the lottery's turnover up to 2009.

 

If by then this arrangement has not yielded Betex a 300 per cent return on the £1.6 million investment it is committed to make in the project, the agreement will be extended until it has. To fulfil its commitments and fund other expansion, Betex, which raised £1 million at 17p before joining OFEX in May, is raising £3 million at 22p from clients of Gartmore, ABN Amro, Hargreave Hale and others.

 

With a shareholder list including several founders of AIM-quoted Sportingbet and its adviser London Asia Capital, Hon says he intends not only to transform the Guizhou lottery but to use it as a springboard for other such deals elsewhere in China. He suggests this type of business will make Betex less tied to the UK football season.

 

Encouraging Asian and (soon) East European and Middle Eastern high rollers to bet online in a handicap system (whereby, for example, top teams playing outsiders can start several notional goals down), Betex saw turnover jump from £8 million in February to £16 million in May before easing to £5 million in June. Hon also hopes to stimulate growth through Asian-style commission agents.

 

He has no present plans to take Betex to AIM, but he says he expects to do so eventually. At 24.5p, the shares offer strong-nerved punters a potentially rewarding longer term alternative to their sporting flutters.
