The math doesn’t work like that. Price has to be reduced on every car on which its offered, whether needed or not. If TSLA reduces price on Model Y in the US by $2K, that’s 420K x $2K = $840M profit hit. A $50M ad campaign if it sells 20K more cars, generates $250M gross profit.
